Okaloosa County School District – Chief Officer – Finance
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of ten years of experience in accounting, business administration, finance or related field to include three years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
Comprehensive knowledge in the areas of Florida Statues and State Board of Education Rules pertaining to business services, school funding, and financial services.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial management, budgeting, accounting, and auditing.
Certified Public Accountant preferred.
Experience in public education or public sector finance or related field preferred.

SENIOR DIRECTOR, FINANCIAL SERVICES
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree or CPA and five (5) years related management experience. Proficiency in industry standard computer applications is required. Advanced excel skills are required to perform financial analysis and monitoring of financial conditions. Ability to develop complex formulas, utilize pivot tables and implement various lookup functions is required. Ability to utilize data abstracting software is preferred.

The School District of Palm Beach County, located in Florida, seeks an individual with visionary leadership and strong administrative skills experience in a district of over 190,000 students. The salary will be in the range of $155,000 to $196,965 and include an excellent comprehensive benefits package. The final salary for the successful candidate will be negotiated and determined based upon proven experience, qualifications and meeting Board criteria.
